What you are allowed to use is up to the server. | Feature | What it does on a server | | ---------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Ghost, colors, material list, layer view | Only changes what you see. | | Easy destroy | You break the blocks yourself. It skips the ones that are right. | | Easy place and drag place | You click, and the right block goes down the right way. Much easier than by hand. | | Angel placement | Places blocks in mid-air. Does not work with strict anti-cheat. | | Printer | Places blocks for you, without clicking. | Easy place, angel placement and the printer can count as cheating. If the rules do not say, ask the staff first. ## Server rules A server can tell BuildPrint which features are allowed. It does that with BuildPrint Policy, a companion for server admins that is coming soon. * A server can turn off: easy place, drag place, easy destroy, angel placement, auto-rotate, the printer, and saving schematics of its world. * It can limit the speed and range of the printer. The lower of its limit and your setting is used. * When you join, a chat line says what is off. * The shield in the top left of the BuildPrint menu shows everything the server allows, with any note from its admins. So does `/buildprint rules`. * Settings that are off are grayed out with the reason. * Your own settings are not changed. They apply again on other servers. ## Several worlds behind one address Some servers run a hub, a survival world and more behind one address. To your game these look like one world. BuildPrint remembers the bedrock pattern under a build when you place it, and only shows the build in the world where that pattern matches. * In another world the build is listed as "other world" and is hidden, not removed. * This works in the overworld and the nether. It has no effect in the End, or where there is no bedrock. * Turn it off with [**World fingerprinting**](https://voxelsprout.com/buildprint/wiki/settings#setting-world-fingerprinting) in the settings.
