The chest menu
/vspolicy opens a chest menu: click a mod, then click a feature to turn it off or on, or a cap to change it.
A player who runs /vspolicy gets a chest menu. It is a normal chest screen the server draws, so nothing needs installing on your own client. On Fabric only operators can open it. On Bukkit it needs vspolicy.admin, which operators have by default. From the console /vspolicy prints a summary instead; see Commands.
The first page #
- One item per mod: bricks for BuildPrint, a chest for Sorted. Its text lists what is off, the caps that are set, and how many of the players online run that mod. Click it to open that mod's page.
- Note to players (the book) shows the note players see. A chest can't take typing, so set it with
/vspolicy message set <text>. - Reload (the clock) reads the config file again, after you changed it by hand.
A mod's page #
- Each feature is a block of concrete: lime when it is allowed, red and shining when it is turned off. Click it to switch.
- Caps are repeaters, on a row of their own below the features. Left-click raises a cap, right-click lowers it, and with Shift held it moves ten steps at a time. Q removes the cap.
- Paste size moves 10,000 blocks per step. The other caps move one at a time.
- Back (the arrow) goes to the first page.
Every click is saved and sent to the players online straight away, and your chat says what changed. What each feature does is on Rules per mod.
