Buildprint
Available nowSee your build before you place a single block.
Buildprint ghosts any schematic into your world, tells you exactly what is missing, and can place it for you — block by block, survival-legal. A modern take on Litematica and Schematica, inspired by Axiom.
A ghost of your build, in the world
Buildprint draws your loaded schematics as a translucent ghost, right where you will build them — using real block models, not coloured boxes.
- Real blocks and states, including modded — crisp leaves, see-through glass, animated water and lava
- Block entities and entities too: chests, signs with their text, shulkers, banners, and mobs, ghosted in place
- GPU-cached for huge builds at full render distance, and it quietly scales back before it ever freezes
- Slice to a single layer, or filter the view down to just what is unbuilt, wrong, or extra
- Tune ghost opacity, shading and culling — resource packs are respected and it survives a world reload
A live shopping list
What is placed, what is left, and what is wrong — updating itself as the world streams in. No refresh button.
- Materials grouped into what to gather, what is done, and stray extras, with a search box over the lot
- Placed and Held columns per row — Held counts what is inside the shulker boxes in your bag, too
- Colour-coded progress in the world: green right, amber wrong rotation, red wrong block, purple extra
- Next-block highlight points at the next cell to place, aware of what is actually in your inventory
- Fair in survival — a half-grown crop or a lit furnace is not flagged as a mistake to fix
- With Sorted installed, an In chests column and a magnifier that lights up the chests holding it
Do not like the wood? Swap it
Click any material in the list and build that part out of a different block entirely — or out of nothing at all.
- Swap to any other block in the game; the ghost, the checklist and easy place all follow
- Your schematic file is never touched — swaps live on the placement and survive a relog
- Swapped rows show what they came from, and revert one at a time or all at once
Let it build for you — survival-legal
Turn on easy place and right-click near the ghost: the exact block goes down, facing the right way. Normal placement, so it works in survival and never breaks what you have already built.
- Gets the fiddly stuff right: repeater ticks, candle and snow counts, double slabs, open doors, sign text
- Borrows the right tool — shovel, hoe, axe, flint and steel — and refills stacks from your inventory as you go
- Handles what you cannot hold: grass gets bone-mealed, crops planted from seed, nether portals lit
- Hold right-click to sweep across cells; middle-click picks a cell’s block into your hand
- Stays out of the way: places past chests, never litters, never re-edits a block that is already right
- Off by default — bind a key or flip it in settings. Printer mode is a separate, opt-in step further
Make your own
Press B for a selection editor built for survival, where you cannot just fly around.
- Freecam detaches and flies while your body stays frozen safely in place
- Click two blocks to outline a region; shift-click to add more in one schematic
- Resize, move, rotate and flip with colour-coded gizmos, snapped to blocks
- Auto align drops a loaded build onto the matching spot in your world in one click
- Save to .litematic — blocks, block entities and entities — ghosted back in place instantly
