Servers

How Sorted behaves on servers: its speed, shop menus, and servers where it switches off.

Sorted only runs on your client, so it works on any server you can join. Everything it does is the clicks you could make by hand, only faster. Whether you may use it is up to the server, so check the rules.

Speed #

Sorts and transfers are sent as a row of clicks, 15 a tick by default (about 300 a second), rather than all at once. Set it with Actions per tick. In singleplayer everything happens at once.

When a server kicks you #

If a server disconnects you while a sort is running, Sorted slows down on that server and remembers it: 80, then 40, 20, 10 and 5 actions a second, one step per kick, until the kicks stop. Only a disconnect that lands during a sort counts. Leaving yourself, an AFK kick or a ban does not.

You see the rate when you join such a server again. Reset it under Learned limits in the settings.

Shops and menus #

Servers use chest screens for shops, auction houses and menus. Sorted recognizes those and hides its buttons there, and never sorts them, so a click cannot buy something. If a real chest is taken for a menu:

Servers where Sorted switches off #

Sorted has a list of servers that do not allow automation, such as Hypixel. When you join one, Sorted switches itself off completely: no buttons, no keys, no memory. A chat line says so. Add servers of your own to Custom blocked servers.
