Waypoints in a modpack
Ship waypoints with a modpack in config/charted/waypoints.json, no code needed.
A modpack can ship waypoints in config/charted/waypoints.json. Each is added once to every world it is for, the first time the player is there; one the player deletes stays deleted.
config/charted/waypoints.jsonJSON{"waypoints": [
{"id": "hub", "name": "Hub", "x": 0, "y": 70, "z": 0},
{"id": "end-portal", "name": "End portal", "x": 1200, "z": -340, "color": "#7B5CD6",
"dimension": "minecraft:overworld", "group": "Pack", "servers": ["play.example.com"]}
]}The fields #
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
id | Needed. The pack's own id for it. Never change it. |
x, z | Needed. |
y | May be left out. |
name | The name the player sees. |
dimension | The Overworld unless given. |
color | "#RRGGBB" or a number. |
group | A folder in the list. |
servers | Without it, the waypoint is for every world. With it, only for those addresses, and "singleplayer" for the player's own worlds. |
Good to know #
- An entry Charted cannot read is left out; the rest still load.
- Charted's settings ship the usual way, as
config/charted.json.
